This video, from May 1987, has Disney Imagineers showing their proposal for a 40-acre entertainment, shopping, and dining district in downtown Burbank, which was very much like a scaled-down version of Disney-MGM Studios theme park (now Disney's Hollywood Studios) in Orlando. This was, in fact, approved by the city of Burbank, but never built, reportedly for financial reasons.



I have heard numerous times about WestCOT and Port Disney (both also never built), but never about this! This YouTube video was a remarkable find! :)
