Disney meal tickets?

Hi Everyone,

:sohappy: Getting ready for our annual July trip down to Disney! :sohappy:

My father sent me an email about some meal ticktets on sale on EBay. I have never heard about these and wondered what it was all about. Tried to pull info about these tickets but can't seem to find anything to describe them.

Anyone have any helpful links or anyone use these that they could tell me the use rules, what restaurants you can use them at, etc. Anything would be useful and much appreciated!!!!:animwink:

The meal tickets are marketed on a separate disney group site for youth groups.

I took a youth group to WDW two years ago, and am taking another one this august, and have bought them directly from disney.

The ones on ebay, are the same thing, however, people are foolish, because I have seen them being bid on for at least double their value.

In saying that, and having used them, they rarely save any significant savings. Their face value is approx 10 dollars, and most of the time I have used them my meal was rung up for about that cost.

So really there is no real savings, it was just a matter of convenience for such a large group of kids.

Actualy I got 13 bucks outta mine and my roomate got 15 from his in MK. Ussually its good for 1 combo meal and a drink, or one entree, one side dish, one dessert and one non alcoholic drink. You can buy them if you are planning a group outing and they are valid at most every counter service resturant in the parks as well as counter service places at hotels. There are ussually some listings on ebay, try searching for them there as they will have more specific info

Sounds like the ones they give out if you got to a DVC presentation. We never went to one, and bought from home, so on our 1st DVC trip we contacted out DVC guide and she left some for us. We didn't get around to getting them until the last day, so we ended up eating at Beaches and Cream (one of the few sit down places that honor them.) You can get a shake for the dessert, or the kicthen sink. (a REALLY BIG) ice cream sundae. We had to go wait for our transportation to the air port so we got a banna spilt to go. It was huge!!!!!!!!!! My hubby, DD and I didn't get 1 /3 through it! Boy was it fun.


I hear the place you get the most for your buck is Beaches and Cream at YBC. If you are thinking about getting the kicthen sink it is sure worth it (they cost 20 some dollars!)

Ummmm Beaches and Cream, can't wait to go back in 3 months!

Meal tickets are given out for schools or groups booking trips to Disney. Durring the FIRST Robotics Competition at Epcot last year we got two a day, one for breakfast and one for dinner. The breakfast one is good for 1 combo at loactions given on the back of the ticket and one drink. The dinner one is good for 1 combo, drink, and dessert. The tickets have an experation date, but it's usually in October. There is nothing that says it must be used by those who bought it nor any identification.

I would not pay more than $8 for a lunch/dinner one and $5 for a breakfast one.

Actually found a few items listed on EBay and then went to a site called dealpass.com which offers them as well.

The dinner coupons looked good for like the Concourse Steakhouse...I think those would pay off as well as maybe the Character Breakfast at Chef Mickeys!

FYI, I found out that the Kitchen Sink is no longer available as the dessert through Beaches N Cream. Boy, that would definitely have gotten your money worth if it was $20! LOL
