This one seems to have slipped under the radar of people but I thought people might like to know about this

Disney now does special personalised maps for WDW. Any guest can make one and print it but those in the US can take advantage of this service a little further.

Once you've customised your maps and selected all the rides and things you want to do. American citizens can have the maps sent to them, Which disney prints such that they'll make good keepsakes after, they also include a batch of golden stickers so you can mark new places you want to enjoy

This service has been live for quite some time but thanks for posting it, to be honest I had completely forgot about it. It is a great idea though, and good for creating maps that I stick on my walls.

Everytime I have tried to personalize my maps, the only option I have is to print them out myself. How do you get Disney to mail them to you? (I'm in Pittsburgh, BTW...not Canadialand)

I believe you have to register with the WDW website and be logged in to get the customized maps printed and mailed to you. You're also limited to one set every 6 months through the mail.

Was booking your trip the first time you registered on the Disney website? You need to be registered (and be logged in) to use the map personalization service.
You can log into the "My Disney Vacation" section at any time, even if you don't have a trip planned.

Yes I know. I've been registered on their site for sometime, but before I booked my vacation I only had the opption to "Print". After I booked it is when I was able to have them sent to me.
