Disney Magic Sickness

I had originally said that I have known many people who have taken cruises, my parents included, who have not gotten sick. If it can be passed from one contaminated person to another, it could have come from a port of call. Anybody check that out first (like the newspapers):brick:

I agree. I almost always get a cold after flying. Plane are one of he worst ( or best) places to get sick with all the recycled air!

I also agree. I remember about 7 years ago I had flown with my son to WDW, and literally 5 minutes after the plane touched down at Orlando International, I started feeling like I had a fever. By the time we had gotten our luggage and been shuttled to the Swan Hotel, I had a fever of 103. The hotel manager drove me to a nearby medical facility and the doctor said I had, what he called "Red Tag" fever. Not sure what that means but while in flight I was perfectly fine. It came on that quick. Doesn't matter where you are.

The Titanic didn't put people off cruising. The September 11th disaster didn't stop people from flying.
I don't think a stomach upset will put people off (:hurl: )

I feel it is too risky to put my family in a possible scenario that may and I say MAY escalate into another type of sickness.
We made plans months ago for a family cruise, we backed out of it due to the current terrorist threat activity, better to be safe than sorry. Its not even the idea to go ahead and do it just to be defiant, what to do? wear face masks and latextgloves for all of us and bring our own food?

Oh really now, get real folks.

sure, years ago it used to be called sea sickness. especially on a cruse ship you have alot of enclosed areas especially below deck, all it takes is one person with the flew or a cold for this to happen. it can happen on any ship anywhere, what makes disney diffrent. at least disney is takeing steps to disinfect the ship instead of sweeping it under the carpet like some other cruis lines do.
