Vancouver is a great city with lots to offer. Leaving from Vancouver allows for a better itinerary since they don’t have to force in an extra stop in Victoria.

The phrases "Itineraries will vary" and "ports of call such as Skagway, Juneau, and Ketchikan" don't go together.

Not to be docked in the same town at the same time.
The Diesel emissions from the ships in Harbor are brutal walking thru most towns.
Newer ships are LNG powered with way less emissions, these old ships aren't.
Sail on these classic, unique Disney Ships while you can. They'll be phased out any year now and replaced with cattle boats.
