Hey guys is there any Disney Magazines out there that I can subscribe to? Ones that tell about the parks and resorts and what is going on...Thanks in advance....Matt

There used to be, but it ended publication about 2 years ago.

Yeah, it was a real disappointment when they stopped the printings. I loved that. I thought it was popular, but I don't think the magazine was promoted enough. The only reason I knew about it was because I got an issue in my room at the Wilderness Lodge, and enjoyed it. Atleast, the magazine went out with a bang with it talking about the 50th Celebration! You can see the magazine had no idea about the cancellation once they printed it up.:(

I'm still mad about Disney Magazine. There is one at www.laughingplace.com. Too bad there isn't an offical magazine. However, I beleive websites like WDWMagic fill a little bit of the void. Who doesn't like getting mail from Disney, though?

It only came about 4 times a year, but always brought a smile to your face when you got it our of the mailbox. I really liked the segments with all the pictures that you had to guess where they were.

I still miss it too. I used to love when it came in the mail. I'd read every page. I was very disappointed when it got cancelled. I still enjoy looking at my old copies, but it's not the same as getting new ones. At least I have out trip in November to look forward to.:animwink:

While it's Disneyland-oriented, and it tends to focus on the past more than the future, the E-Ticket Magazine comes out 4 times a year and is available through Amazon. It's a bit pricey - $29 - but it also extemely low on ads. They have a small section in the back for some, but that's about it. It's not as slick as The Disney Magazine was, but it's not done by Disney, either. I highly recommend it (and no, I'm not being paid to say any of this!).
