Disney Magazine Rumor

Just heard this on the Mouse Tunes podcast -

Apparently the Theme Park Division was not told about the demise of the Disney Magazine and is not happy about it. According to Mouse Tunes, the Theme Park division is thinking of either bring the magazine back to life or start it's own magazine sometime soon.

I would love to see that happen. I was about to order a subscription to Disney Magizine just as they announced it was being shut down.

Good news. I would love it if they could. I remember seeing in my Family Fun (that I also got BEFORE Disney Mag went under) they were coming out with another Parent magizne. Really I think the market is full of those already.

We need A disney mag!!!!!!!

AUGHH!! one would hope that this rumor is true, because i am sooo over this Family Fun as a replacement! i love family fun but honestly it doesn't even come close to The Disney Mag!! The Disney Mag was the one thing that got us geared for going to the parks! it made us soo happy to open up our mail box and there it was! we would thumb through each issue at least 12 times........sigh.....bring it back....bring it back....bring it back....

can the theme park division do that (since disney does have a large publishing arm)? or is this all wishful thinking?
