Disney Litter

Just got back from WDW and I could not believe all of the litter in the parks. I have been to WDW 10 times in my life and never remeber anything like this. While waiting to board It's a small world, as the que bends 180 degrees there was a pile of trash about 2 feet high in the corner. I know guests are throwing it there, but it ruins some of the magic seeing the park in such a condition. I don't know why people can't hold onto their trash for 2 minutes, I mean every time you turn around in one of the parks you run into a trash can.

Hey Tiggernut,

I just got back myself from weekend excursion at Disney and I did not see the litter you saw. If you went in the last two weeks Magic Kingdom was full to capacity almost everyday. This could help explain some of that mess, but generally they are extremely good with the trash collecting. If you notice around every corner there is someone with a small broom and a collector picking up even the smallest cigarette bud.

Sorry if you saw it nasty, I'm sure it wasn't intentional on Disney's park and for sure it was picked up shortly after.

Litter

I just went down a few weeks ago and it seemed the Magic Kingdom was a little run down. A lot of leaves and pine straw on the paths piled up and in general not kept up as well as the other parks. MGM and Animal Kingdom always seem to be spotless.

I don't blame Disney, if people would use the trash cans, the park would be perfect.

maybe they were short staffed on the day you went

I was there last month and all the parks were very clean.
We even commented on it.

I have seen this a couple of times, but it is eventually taken care of. The janitors can't be everywhere, so you have to give them time.

I've never really noticed much litter in WDW. It's usually quite clea.

Having out in the middle of the streets is one thing. Having litter in a que line is more likely to happen.

Custodial doesn't pass thru the lines very often.

If you notice an abundant amount of litter anywhere, do everyone a favor and tell a custodial host if you see one and if you can't find one of them, tell any other cast member.

It will make your day better and everyone elses.
