Well, as far as Eisner is concerned, everything about ABC is personal. Afterall, this is where he started his career. (Read Keys to the Kingdom for Eisner history) So I'm sure he sees it as his duty to try and save the struggling studio. The problem IMHO is that there are too many people to go through in order to approve a show. They need to streamline the process and trust the people they put in charge of programming. Let them make misstakes on their own without fear of retribution from Disney High Command. Otherwise, those folks are going to second guess everything they do.
