Disney Institute Villas? Gone?

We know the Disney Institute has been replaced by Saratoga Springs. But, in the forest area neat Downtown Disney, there are hig rise villas that look like chiki huts and are viewable from the Sassagoula River. These huts always have lights on but are vacant and have storage stuff inside. My question is....Why aren't they operational and what resort are they now part of?

Thanks

Meega, nala kwishta!
I ulled this from an article over at MousePlanet. I believe they are talking about the same place. The article was about SS's opening.

...Phase II, which will encompass a group of eight buildings with 368 units, will open during 2005. Phase III, to open in 2007, will include six more buildings with 276 units, and will be built on the current site of the Fairway Villas buildings. The Treehouse Villas buildings will not be demolished, as they are on protected land. However, it is not believed that they will ever reopen to the public.

You can read they whole thing here
