Disney Infinity Score!

Wasn't quite sure where to post this, but here goes. The one item at the top of my boy's Christmas list is Disney Infinity. So being a mom who remembers cabbage patch kids and furby's I pre-ordered it. But here's the score part. I got one extra figure and some type of a booster pack for free (@real mad hatter your favorite word) for doing the pre-order, I also got the walk through book for about $7 instead of 20 for getting it with the game on the day it came out. The store also had some trade in bonus %, so I brought in some old stuff that was laying around the house collecting dust, $120 worth of stuff for $20 out of my pocket! SCORE!

I am still debating whether to buy this for my boys. I have done the Skylanders the last two years and not sure if I want to spend the money on the characters.

I posted this in another thread but it may be nice to share here too for those trying to get things on the cheap:

Spent the first half of today store hopping to make sure I got the best deals and it was WELL worth it. I love it! Its been a ton of fun and I still have a ton more to do.

Heres my rundown:
Gamestop: Got my starter, free character, and booster
Target: Had a sale on the Cars and Lone ranger sets for $18 a piece (great deal!)..so picked them up
Toys R US: But one get one 50% off on everything infinity related..so used that to get the rest of the characters (including the limited edition crystal mcQueen). They also have a buy one get the 2nd for $1 on booster packs. So 18 packs later..Im pretty much set.

Just a note: The Toys R Us gold booster packs are all pretty much the same. You will get Mikes car in every one (at least the 4 that I got and the 4 my gf got all had the same chips in it).

ALSO some people said walmart had some sales on this too, but that requires actually going into a walmart so I skipped that option

Not sure when ALL the sales end, but i'm pretty sure Toys R us is until Saturday
