Disney in Texas?

Ah, mmkay. We recently had a big patch of land that held a theme park taken down and a lot of people were saying they heard stuff about Disney building things there.. BUUUT I'd rather not live right by my Disney park and get to anticipate going more, I guess.

Yea, I heard this from a kid while I was in the sixth grade, really hoping it was true. But now since I think about it, I wouldn't want that. BTW Im a senior in high school now, so yea it aint happening.:)

That rumor has been around for many, many years. Isn't gonna happen. WDW is being marked as a vacation destination, adding any other parks in the USA would detract from tourism at WDW. Disney's only real competition would then be ... Disney.

If they decided to build something small and something very different there, it would work.


Same reason Disney's America would have worked. It was small and unique. it was sort of a small silverdollar city ala disney.

I think a smaller, very different park located more centrally in the country would be very successful. I would say maybe near Memphis, because it is close to dead center.
