Disney in February?

Hi,

Unfortunately, we're going to have to post-pone our upcoming trip to the World in August :brick:

We are looking into rebooking for next Feburary, specifically during the week of President's day. Can anyone give me insight into the crowds and weather during that time?

We've been doing that week every year for the past 6 years. It's crowded, but no where near as bad as the summer is. The weather is usually delightful, but you'll need a jacket or sweater for the evenings. We used to go every summer, but we've found that we love February so much more!

Feb is one of the better times to go... smaller crowds and cooler weather.

Feb Fun

February is a great time. My wife and I went during the last week of Feb. this year. As previously mentioned, bring some warm clothes for mornings/evenings. We did not for our first day. After shivering through fantasmic (we actually bought one of the beach towels at the show to huddle under), we learned our lessons and planned accordingly. Use the lockers at each park to stow away the warmer attire.

Feb. can be a bit cold... (and this coming from a MN guy)

I like May the best, but my parents enjoy Feb. alot... The biggest drawback is the short hours of operation.

One thing to bear in mind is that the week you're considering is actually school vacation week for many schools up north, so it does get a little more crowded. But it's soooooo sweet when you watch the weather channel down there and see a big snowstorm headed for the Northeast!

If you're used to the summer, then you'll love February! Very few tour groups, wonderful weather,etc.

We've been the past 3 years in Feb. I've heard that Presidents Week can be crowded but we've never really had that problem. The weather is cool in the mornings and warmer during the day. It can get downright cold though. Keep out when the Daytona 500 is. Those crowds seem to migrate on to The World.
