Keep checking the fastpass system everyday or if you're like me multiple times a day. It's like the ADR's things open up as people change plans.

Like @mattdenine said, keep checking for Soarin' fastpasses. If you can't get a FP you can try riding at rope drop or at the end of the day as Illuminations is starting (especially if you are planning to do two days at Epcot and will have another time to see Illuminations). If you're doing Extra Magic Hours at Epcot any morning or evening that would also be a good opportunity to ride.

Just keep checking for Soarin' and you may get lucky...otherwise you just need to be at the park about 30 minutes before opening and go straight there and ride it stand-by.

Crowds tend to build as each day goes by in June as more and more kids get out of school.

As for the Magic Bands, they are everything for your trip. Your room key, your FP+, you can charge on them once you link a credit card, etc. There is a whole forum dedicated to them on this site. I'd go visit it and read up. At the most basic, you match up "Mickey to Mickey" between your band and the reader. If it is for admission or a ride, the light turns green and you go past. That's it.

I can't give advice on the fastpass+ as I haven't used it yet. But according to what I just read, and it could change, the mini-golf passes are to be used before 4:00 p.m.
I was just looking into it because we have never done the golf in Disney before and we're hoping to do so next time we go.

One Little Spark...
Thank for tip @MotherofaPrincessLover do you know were golf is located and roughly how much should I bring for a 5 day 4 day park trip??? thanks
There are two mini-golf courses. Winter Summerland is located right outside the entrance of Blizzard Beach (one of the two water parks on property). To get there by bus just look for the connecting bus that goes to Animal Kingdom. It will make a stop at Blizzard Beach before heading to the main theme park (and vice versa on return runs).

The other one is Fantasia (gardens?). It's located across the street from the Swan resort. This one is harder to get to (if you don't have a car). Basically, you can take a return bus to the Swan / Dolphin from a park, you can take a Friendship Boat from EPCOT or Hollywood Studios and get off at the Swan / Dolphin stop. In either case, you'd then need to walk across the street to the golf course.
