Disney Hotels on the Travel Channel today...

Did anyone see the 2 shows on the travel channel today about the Grand Floridian and the Animal Kingdom Lodge?

I DID. It was pretty cool. I learned some new stuff.

Not yet but my friend recorded the AKL one for me. Now he just has to transfer them to tape so I can watch them.

I was off from work today so I caught them both. They were very interesting as they showed the inside of some of the suite rooms and stuff. There is another one on the 18th about the Yacht and Beach Club.

I recorded both of them and just finished watching both of them. I was suprised that it cost 2 grand a night to stay in the Disney suite.

I missed the GF one ..but then I have never really wanted to stay there ..it just looks too stuffy. but I watched and taped the AKL one since thats where we are staying this year :sohappy: Cant wait till DH gets home today and gets to see it!!

ok, i may be going a bit over the edge here but comcast in my area doen't have TC. Any chance somebody who taped it could capture and upload it? I checked with everybody I know and nobody has Travel Channel. (I did but I had to drop DirecTV )

saw them both and all I can say is "I WANT SAMANTHA BROWN'S JOB!!!!"

It was great. I have now changed my mind and think I do want to stay at GF someday. (We just joined DVC so someday when I feel we have visisted the VC resorts enough, that is how we are using our points for one or at least part of a trip!)

I feel better now about the shows. I had seen the Y&B show and then the Universal one and felt that is was unfairly skewed to make US and IOA look better. I wonder if they will do a resort near MGM and go there like she did MK, Epcot and AK.

It is about time the travel chanel does something on places I go!

The next one is March 19th I believe. It is either at 11:30am or 3pm. I think it is on the Polyensian Resort this time.

hubby and I watched the one on the AKL 6 times this morning ( glad i taped it ) and it just made us even more excited about staying at the AKL then we already were .. sooooo I called tonight and added a night to our stay .. what the heck .. I will never pay off my credit cards any way :sohappy:
