I've stayed there and really enjoyed it. It is not themed with a lot of "Disney" more like the Disney resorts with a grand theme/era. It reminds me a bit of Wilderness Lodge in it's themeing. The colours are muted earth tones and there are rustic touches inside the rooms with "aged" wooden furniture, checkered table clothes, fishing rods, hammocks, picnic table style furnishings for the kitchen.
It's like a really well done woodsy cottage. The rooms were a decent size. I stayed in a two bedroom suite and a one bedroom suite with a small living area open to the kitchen. Both had a pull out sofa and a whirlpool tub big enough for 4 (or 6 if you're REAL friendly) :animwink:
There are boat docks with paddle boats and the harbour nearby is a very nice area for an evening walk. You'll see yachts from all over the world. Seafood places are abundant and you'll find a lot of places have a small bucket of peel and eat shrimp for an appetizer.
Service was great. Never had any problems myself. True, it doesn't scream "Disney" when you're there but I quite like the rustic style, it's a beautiful area and if you like nightlife there's lots of places to drink, eat and dance the night away with a short walk.
There are great beaches, lots of golf and it's generally a clean, safe area (taking your normal precautions of course....I still wouldn't wander around drunk and alone at 2am or anything)
I'd also be curious to hear what other people think
