As part of its 50th anniversary celebration of California's Disneyland, Walt Disney World has presented $1 million to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida.
The $1 million local gift is part of the Disney corporate gift totaling $3 million to the national organization.
The club says the money will be used to rebuild its Pine Hills facility.
Last year, Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida served 8,936 children in 14 facilitates.
Disney says last year it contributed $24.7 million in cash and in-kind donations to local charities and its employees provided more than 185,000 hours of volunteer service.
