Disney Genie Isn't An Accurate Reflection Of Upcoming Park Hours... Is It?

So, I was playing around with Genie (just for fun - I won't really be relying on it as a day planning tool) and noticed that for our August trip, daily park hours are: 9-7 for MK (daily, not just potential MNSSHP days), 9-7 for HS, 9-5 for AK, and 9-9 for Epcot, with daily "EMH" starting at 2pm. (I'm assuming this is a hopelessly mislabeled attempt at listing parkhopping hours, since EMH doesn't exist anymore.)

I know that summer hours are shorter in August, but even during August 2021 after the COVID reopening, they weren't quite this truncated! Most of these hours will definitely change... won't they?

When in August are you going? We were there in 2022 from the 6th to 18th. I can give you the hours for those days.

AK was 8a-8p
DHS was 8:30a-9p
Epcot was 8:30a-9p

MK had more variation, but was usually 9a-10p

I wouldn’t trust MDE for hours in August until maybe June.

We're going from the 12th-18th (with 5 park days, from 8/13-17). We expect MK to be closing early some nights for MNSSHP, but the 7pm closure for every day according to Genie+ threw me a bit! Thanks for sharing your hours: hopefully this year's will turn out to be similar.

I think those are the default operating hours until Disney releases the real ones. We’ve been going at the end of August for several years and with the exception of 2020, MK and DHS are always open until 9 pm along with Epcot. With the return of Fantasmic and Happily Ever After, I wouldn’t be concerned about an early closure.

Fwiw, we went to MK on the party days in the morning and they were DEAD. It was awesome. So if you have park hopper, and/or don’t mind missing the evening at MK we found that to be lovely.

I would expect hours to expand closer to august.

Thanks for the tip! We do have parkhoppers, and yes, hitting MK in the morning on party days is an essential part of our plan to avoid crowds and lines.
