Disney Food Network Special

Just to let everyone know a new Disney special is going to be on the Food Network at 9pm Eastern Time tonight (12/5). It is called Guy's Disney Holiday (Guy Fieri from Diners Drive Ins and Dives.) The info button on my TV said it is about holiday themed foods and snacks at Disney.

Its a Disneyland based show, not a bad Christmas season for Disney TV shows, one on HGTV and one on Food Network.:sohappy:

In this one hour special, Guy Fieri explores the amazing holiday destination that is Disneyland - the fun, the experience, the added holiday excitement and charm, all wrapped around his focus on the park's holiday themed meals and treats. Guy, along with various members of his family, will highlight (and participate in the making of) a variety of food including baked goods (such as a gingerbread house and Yule log), candy (such as candy canes), and Christmas Eve dinner (featuring items served at the Napa Rose restaurant).

yea i didn't realize it was Disneyland and not Disney World...it it seems like DL has a lot more holiday specific treats. It was cute special!

It was a pretty good show, considering it was DLR

The host was definitely WAY better than the HGTC host. Guy's awesome.

I don't usually like Guy.
But I saw the show...and now I have this desire to make my own candy canes from scratch and eat duck.
How weird.
I am also considering going to DL JUST to see if it is indeed the best hot chocolate ever.

I missed it! But i'll need to check my DVR when I get home. I have it set to record on the keyword "Disney" so maybe it picked it up wihtout me knowing. The last time I looked, I had 16 episodes of the "What you get for the Money - Disney" special from FLN!

I have a feeling it really is the BEST hot coco ever, based on what went into it. But I also bet that if it sits too long, it turns back into a bar of chocolate :lol:
