So with all of the resistance to changes WDW is making between entertainment, overlays and the like (admittedly some from yours truly) I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of TDO or the DIsney Corp actually having any focus groups? I am not talking about those times when they walk up to you with those electronic tablets and ask you what restaurants you ate in but a real meat and potatoes half day session type thing.
I am participating in one of these for eBay next week and it got me to thinking that they are a pretty huge company between the auction site and Paypal but yet they are in fact interested in having a 90 minute session with their customers (for which I am also being compen$ated) to listen to what they have to say. Has anyone ever heard of Disney doing this? Regionally it could be done probably either at a hotel or even by shutting down one of the Disney stores (yes I know there are very few left) and using that as a venue.
I have filled out several post-trip surveys over the years and am usually happy to talk to the folks in khaki's with the e-tablets as long as we are not running late but I just wonder if they might not get some good intel from a real "session".
Just curious...
