This thread is designed to answer questions for people who are interested in the Disney Entertainment Industry. So let's say you have a question, and just want some answers, just post here. Or if your interested in working for Disney in Entertainment, just ask away. Now there are many people here on the boards, that are in Entertainment at Disney. So i'm sure they wouldn't mind to answer your questions.

P.S-I'm not in Entertainment...But very soon though..:king:

Ok, I'll start. Is it easy to get a job as a seasonal performer/character? Or is it easier to get a job part time?

It's just something to start us off...:D

It depends on the sesaon. During the busy times they are looking for seasonal people, but you could be bumed up to part time if it were needed.

Just sit at the barber shop on Main Street and wait for the end float in Spectro...after the Spectro girls pass the ropes will be dropped...at that point get up and follow as close as you can to the lighted rope that the Spectro girls are holding (to keep people from doing what I am telling you to do back). You can follow all the way up Main Street around the hub and past the castle to the cut off point at the bridge leading into Liberty Square. Then my friend you can say you were in the parade.

Good luck and have fun!

I have already done that lol :p

I am talking about like the people in Jammine who walk witht he mini floats that are animals and stuff.

You can always ask guest relations if they need people to sit in those parade floats in MJJP I know sometimes they are always looking for people...Thats a way to get into the parade.

How long do you have to Meet & Greets, before you can move up to parades/shows? Also, is it hard to get casted for parades, when your only a seasonal CM?

It all depends on your dancing skill level. That is what they look at when they cast parades and shows. For seasonal you can get scheduled to parades then when you call and ask to work they do ask you if you are trained in anything like a parade or a show. Hope that helps.

Ok sir hiss.....

Im planning on auditioning in may, I would like to get into a stage show, like Tarzan or Mirmaid, as a singer. Or maybe dancing in a parade.

I current live in another state, but im willing to move asap for the job.

I know ive been working very hard vocally and financially to get to my goal.

I did the CP last winter, i did the advanced spring program, but I got mono really bad and I thought for my better judgement to come home. Now i realize that I should've stayed and finished... i know i cant turn back the clocks and do something differently.

I hope that wont effect anything.

What should I do???????

Not sure what you can do , the best thing I would do is do the college program again to get in there, or call the job line...
