Disney Direct Halloween Costumes

I have a question on the costumes that Disney Direct offers. I am looking at buying the adult Minnie costume. Does anyone know if they run small? I am a XL but just want to make sure before I buy it. Thanks.

I think they run somewhat bigger. I ordered the Minnie costume XXL, giving extra space for comfort, but when it arrived, the costume was huge. I tried it on, but it was too large for me. The thing is that even though it was larger to the sides, it runs short. I measure 5'7", and it was like 3 inches below my knees, so anyways, if I would change it to a smaller one, it wouldn't fit because of the length. Hope this is helpful to you.

At the end of September, my store got tons of adult costumes returns from DisneyDirect -- all with the same reason... they were too large. I'm 6'1 and about 150 lbs, and I actually fit in a medium Pooh costume that was returned (I would think I'd fit in a XL).

Unfortunately though -- now all catalog and online returns are no longer accepted at Disney Store (as of 10/1/05).. so if you need to return it and change sizes, you're on your own.

All the stores have decided not to take online Disney Shopping returns because they are three different company owners now. Ovbiously Disney, the Disney Store is owned by Children's Place, and the Disney Direct was sold to some company whose name I do not know. That is why we don't accept DisneyShopping returns for anyone's information. And to MonoRail what store do you work at? I just got hired as a DS:CM about 4 weeks ago.

I forgot to add that we STILL accept theme park returns.

...I work at store 559, right outside of Pittsburgh. I'm a PT LCM (but for how long? I don't know... I'm hoping to get accepted into Spring Advantage '06 CP).

Welcome to the team! Are you a seasonal CM or part time?

I am part time right now. Im working store 439 in Tulsa,OK. You are a lead? On stage or backstage? And what is the Spring Advantage 06' ?? And thanks for the welcome. It is really a blast. And yes we do accept theme park returns. But I wonder how much longer that might last.

I'm an on-stage lead.

Spring Advantage is the college program semester that lasts from January until August. If all goes well, I'll get it.

As for park returns... I hope we continue to accept them. I love getting park merchandise and looking/buying it at a cheap price. :D

Well good luck with that. I was accepted to the summer program. Jan-May last year, but my parents didnt want me to go so I didnt. But the cool thing was that I got accepted. So I hope you make the cut. I am planning to try again next year, or in two, because I now know I can get accepted.
