Disney Decorations MADE AT HOME Tips

I wanted to share with you 2 things that I am doing for Christmas to decorate.

I have a December 2012 trip planned and I am decorating my tree with Disney, so I thought I would BUY the ornaments that look like Mickey Ears, the ones they sell for like $20. Thats busted my dreame right there, so I MADE 6 OF THEM myself for $20 and they look just as nice! I went to the hobby store and bought styrofoam balls, Red glitter, toothpicks and glue.
I 'painted' the glue on the balls with a small brush, rolled them in the glitter and left them sit overnight to dry. shake off the excess when dry.
The toohpicks I used to attach the EARS to the HEAD. I put the ears on the head to make a hole and used SUPER GLUE IN THE HOLE to secure it to the HEAD. I made a hook hanger from a ornament hanger and used another hanger to hang the ornament! 6 Mickey Ear Ornaments for the price of 1 from Disney.
I will be adding to my decorations year after year, so next year I am making 6 more Mickey Ears and a Lighted Mickey Wreath for my balcony. Master Yoda has done this and looks wonderful! I may add some smaller open-circle(like those use to make wreaths) Mickey Ear ornaments as well on the tree.

DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE ANY DECORATING TIPS FOR THE HOLIDAYS
THAT YOU MAKE AT HOME!? PLEASE SHARE!
