Hi everyone! I recently got an iphone for my birthday in February and I've been wanting a Disney D-tech Iphone 5 case. I just wonder for any of you who have them, do they protect your iphone?

Thank you!

My son has one for his IPhone5. It is a hard shell case that protects it just fine. It doesn't cover the front glass but no worries with that as the glass is extremely hard to scratch. He likes his just fine.

They're a hard shell on the back and just a soft screen cover on the front. I wouldn't buy one for "protection" so much - there are better. It'll prevent scratches and scuffs but probably not so much a fall and certainly not moisture.

I'm not sure if I'm talking about the same case as the "D-Tech," but I was gifted an Epcot 30th anniversary case and it works just fine. Now, it's only the backing that is protected, and I have one of those glare-free screen protectors. I have had no issues with my iPhone. In fact, the issue that I did have (thank god I bought the 100 dollar insurance because I got a new phone) is the on/off button at the top of the phone. The otter box I originally bought impacted that button, compromising the function. Go figure! (If you haven't purchased the apple plan, I would highly suggest it).

It's not the best case in the world, but it does it's job. If you're careful with your phone then it's a great case. They are priced expensively too (32-36 dollars), but that's the same you'd pay for a decent case anywhere.

Actually, they have lots of different sizes for Android phones in the major retail stores at WDW now too -- nothing is available online. Just to get it straight, though, what WDW sells at dTech are COVERS they are not "cases" -- they do NOT protect your iphone from falls, they only protect it from scratches. They snap onto the back of your phone, and if you drop it, your glass will still break. But its better than nothing, and its the same stuff you find all over the country and mail order like Coveroo, etc...Currently, they have about 70 different designs for iPhone 4, and about 10 designs for iPhone 5. The most popular ones are also available for Galaxy SIII and several other phones. For iPhone 5, the designs are big cartoon like minie, mickey, donald, and goofy heads...a drawing of the castle in purple shading...a "sketch mickey"...two ESPN designs...and a few others.

any Disney cases or any cases at all? there's some places that will personalize and allow custom images. if they make it for your model you could take a favorite photo and get your own special made case ( just make sure you aren't borrowing from an image that is owned by someone else, I once went through torture trying to get a picture from aqua teen hunger force on a case for my phone. )

Thank you for the clarification on that! (:
