This is an interesting subject. I can see both sides. ESPN is very profitable and could become extremely profitable again is they worked more closely with sports betting. Personally I would love to see WDW work with the Florida Seminal Indians and add a sports betting operation and casino over in the Flamingo Crossing Area. They could even move ESPN from CT to Florida and use the land they already own and build a wonderful complex for sports betting, a casino and television broadcasting.

Disney has been pretty vocal about wanting to stay out of the gambling industry.
With sports betting in the USA a $4B industry, even Disney ( ESPN ) could see getting into that type of action.
I know that under Iger they were vocal about staying out of gambling. However he is gone now. Chapeck may not last long either. So expect more changes in the near future and based on financial interest and profits things to change. The company should keep TV and Movie production in California but move everything else to Florida and what is wrong with gambling as long as it's kept away from the parks.
If the west of Flamingo Crossing is too close use some of the land they purchased south of Celebration. Sports betting is here to stay and ESPN working with the leagues and gambling establishments leads to huge profits. I would rather keep it all under one roof but if that isnt going to happen, spin ESPN off.
