A friend of mine had on her computer something called "Disney Link" ... and it looked to me that there was a little box that she had on her desktop that was constantly being updated with pictures or something ...

Does anyone know what Im talking about ... ?

It was like a little program as if you had installed Itunes or something like that.

I have it and it is not as "neat" as it sounds (i.e. they could do SO much more with it). Basically, it is advertising for Disney. There are several tabs: parks, DVDs, Shopping and More Magic. Each one gets a new tidbit or two of information each day. The More Magic is my favorite as it frequently has Trivia, etc., but more likely has links to various games to the Disney website, etc. The Shopping one is annoying since I already get an e-mail EVERYDAY from Disney shopping (I could change this, but it is more fun to complain about it instead!) ;) . The Park info is good, but since my trip is already booked, not much pertains to my upcoming visit YET.

There is also an Events section and a weather section that is VERY cute. You can choose one of three layouts (castle, Mickey or Cars, I think) and choose which information you want to receive.

It is a cute feature, but most of it links back to the Main Disney site, so you know, Disney Link features the same problems as the main site. :fork: I like to have it just for fun, but wouldn't use it for 'REAL' information. Download it and give it a try. If you don't like it, you can delete! :D

It is a program that live updates you on all the goings on in the Disney company. I never found it useful.

As usual all the info Disney would release through it was always outdated and had been released on the internet days before hand.

We ended up un-installing it. I think we saw an ad for it somewhere on waltdisneyworld.com
