Disney Collegiate All-Star band to hold final 2005 performance on August 5

The Disney Collegiate All-Star Band is an elite group of musicians that are recruited from all over the United States to come perform at Walt Disney World each summer.

While participating in the Disney Collegiate All-Star Band program, the band's Cast Members attend music clinics and workshops with members of Walt Disney Entertainment, as well as give five performances a day.

The group performs in Tomorrowland, Frontierland, on Main Street U.S.A., and in the Castle Forecourt areas of the Magic Kingdom Park. Their repertoire includes songs by Phil Collins, a Motown Medley, big-band tunes and Disney favorites.

The 2005 Disney Collegiate All-Star Band will hold their last day of performances on Aug. 5.

Do you guys know how the recruitment process works for this? I'm going into my first year of college this fall as a music major and I would really like to be a part of this next summer! So if anyone has any info, I would love to know.

Sorry I don't know the recruitment process, but I do love these guys I will have to see them before they leave.
