Disney Christmas ornaments.

The Christmas store at downtown Disney is in serious need of something new in the ornaments. This is the first year since 2001 that we did not purchase an ornament.

That is all.

P.S. They need some new 24Kt gold ones, we already have the ones they are selling.

I totally agree. This is the absolute worst selection of Chrismas Ornaments we have seen since we started going to WDW in 1997. We have one tree that is almost exclusively these wonderful, large, personalized ornaments that have been collected over the years. For tradition's sake, we broke down and bought two ornaments this year, but they are a sad shadow of the ones prior years.

This is just another example of the buying offices in California making decisions on what they think will make othe most profit, rather than what the customers really want and would be willing to pay for.

One of my friends was happy with some ornaments she bought online at the Disney site. Maybe try it and see if they have anything better? (Not to say the actual store doesn't need updating...I know it means more when it actually comes from the parks, but just for new ornament tradition sake : )

All of the Christmas stores are my favorites in WDW. I'm not real big on themed trees (or anything themed for that matter), but I like to have a few Disney ornaments strewn about on my tree. I'm sure I can find a few I don't have (as I don't have many) but the ones I saw online are not impressive. There were a very few that I would even consider buying. I might have to be creative and make some of my own with other items from WDW.
