MALIBU, CA (Playthings.com) -- Jakks Pacific has entered into a licensing deal with Disney Interactive to market titles featuring the Disney brand and characters for the toymaker's plug-and-play video game system.
Jakks' first Disney-themed TV Games titles — marketed by the company's Toymax division — will debut in fall 2003. Games will feature Disney's "classic" characters, Winnie the Pooh and Friends, Disney Princesses and other Disney properties.
Toymax introduced TV Games in 2001 with 10 classic video games bundled in one game controller that plugs directly into any standard television without the need for any other hardware or software.
