did anyone else notice that the animation for the cartoons currently on the disney channel is a little funky and too obviously cgi

today on little einsteins there was a lost reindeer and the entire herd was very blocky and almost looked like something from a late 1990's animation program

i was dissappointed and i am glad that they are only shows and the movies are much better quality

is it a budget thing why they don't have better cgi or just what?

i think that Disney Telvision Animation can do a little better..If they continued the concept of taking characters out of there daily routine and taking them into adventures (Example Ducktales, Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers, Goof Troop, Quack Pack, House of Mouse, TaleSpin) We would still have some top notch series. Since the concept of cheating animation by just utilizing Flash for it all..it's becoming more popular and the days of standard hand drawn 2D for TV is gone..Condsidering that Disney Animation eliminated there Japan, France and recently there Austrailia studios for there television series it's now just up to seeing Yin and Yang..and that *shudders* Lame excuse of an americanime Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force GO! The days of The Wuzzles and Gummi Bears are gone...we can only dream to see them once again...
UPDATE - Just read that Disney's Adventures of the Gummi Bears are coming to DVD plus Darkwing Duck, TaleSpin, and Volume 2 of Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers And Ducktales.

Disney would do well to remember when they first started daily television animation (Duck Tales -- MMC doesn't count, since most of the cartoons were stock shorts from the studio). When they first started Duck Tales, they promised television animation that would be more drawings per frame than anyone else (although less than in feature animation), and more fluid movement.

Quality mattered then. I wish it still did. They can't seem to see past short-term gains, at least as far as television animation is concerned.

All of the Disney Channel's shows are crap. I will be fair though, as darthjohnny said, there a no good original american kids shows anymore. Gone are the days of original quality shows like Pinky and the Brian, Animaniacs, Duck Tales, Dark Wing Duck, Tale Spin, Dexter's Laboratory, Powerpuff Girls, Ed Edd n' Eddy, and many others.
