Thanks for the reminder Darkbeer! I never really visit the parks on busy holiday weekends like Presidents Day and have never seen this event, but it seems like it would be a wonderful thing to wander into and listen in on for a bit.

And they really seem to be committed to this annual event, as they've been doing it for a decade or so now, right?

I'm just glad TDA finally spent a few bucks to remove the old snowy Arendelle Norway sets from 2013 in that Stage 17 warehouse. I'm an old white guy, but I have an impressive enough collection of old Motown records to know that a snowy Scandinavian village is not really the right backdrop for African-American Gospel.

Celebrate Gospel 2016 - Uh, TDA? We have a theme problem in Stage 17.

was there on Saturday, the park was busy but not unbearable. One thing I notice when DCA gets a decent size crowd is the amount of people walking around semi lost.

with grizzley peak closed and the middle of the park under construction I saw quite a bit of people walking around trying to figure out where all the rides where. several people were lost looking for GOTG:MB and in the evening Hollywood backlot had hundreds of guests trying to figure out what the land was for with nothing to do.

Frozen ends early, the playhouse Disney show ends early and only thing left is animation, monsters inc and GOTG:MB. luckily they had some kind of backlot dance party going.

Disney needs to get their plans moving for DCA park expansion because it desperately need more attractions. not even sure why they couldn't have had a parade going as well. the lunar celebration also ends early and they only have a couple of food booths that could have been placed in the WOC viewing area since its not being used.
