Disney Buses After Late Fantasmic?

We are planning to do Fantasmic at a 10:00 showing on our HS day. The park hours for that day show HS closing at 9:30. We called disney, and they said that you are let out through another way since the rest of the park is closed. If the buses only run up until an hour after closing does that mean they stop at 10:30? Do you still have time to catch a bus back to the Disney hotels even after the late showing of Fantasmic when the park has already been closed?

I asked a similar question on another thread, and I was told that WDW transportation people actually check to make sure the parks are all clear before shutting down buses for the night. I'll see if I can find the thread so you can read it.

I thought buses ran for 2 hours after park closing. Regardless, as others have mentioned, they won't leave you. Especially since they're running a show past park closing time.

WDW website says buses run for one hour after park closing, but according to what others told me on the thread I referenced above, that timing is really more of a rough estimate, since they make sure the parks are clear before shutting down transportation.

Interesting. I always thought they said Disney transportation runs "one hour before park opening and up to two hours after park closing." Maybe I imagined that, or maybe they've changed it. I know they stop monorails earlier now, but buses run almost perpetually.

But yes, they'll get everyone home.

We just did this over spring break. The buses are running and there are plenty of them, as soon as one pulls off another pulls up.

Just did this last night. Studios closed at 9:30, late fantasmic was at 10:00, and we caught a bus back to Coronado some time after 11:00.

They run the buses until everyone is out of the park, even if you are one of the last people they'll make sure they have whatever bus you need.
