Disney Bear debuts at “Once Upon a Toy”!
March 24, 2004

Lake Buena Vista, FL (Walt Disney Entertainment) -- Guests will now have the opportunity to see our newest Disney character. “Disney Bear” will meet & greet children of all ages at “Once Upon a Toy” in the Downtown Disney Marketplace. Greeting times are scheduled each Wednesday through Saturday, on the half-hour 4:30pm – 8:00pm, March 24th through April 17th, and again May 26th through August 7th. Come see what a little pixie dust can do!

anybody ever play "conker's bad fur day" on nintendo? it's capture the flag with squirrels v. teddy bears. the squirrels bleed, but when you blast a teddy bear, stuffing flies out. it's alot of fun.

On our last trip, my 3 year old got a small Disney bear with magnets in its paws. Very cute. He has hidden Mickeys on his face, paws, and his little bottom.

They have had these bears at once upon a toy since the store opened so whats new about it?We even have them at the Disney store and they dont sell at all.They even have a hidden Mickey on there feet,and once upon a toy is at downtown Disney.

Yes, the bears have been there for awhile (very soft by the way, bought one for my girlfriend) but now there is a character that appears for meet and greet. It makes it more than just a bear with mickeys on it, now its an actual character - should only increase sales. Maybe not at Disney Stores, but at Once Upon A Toy for sure.
