Disney Backstage areas.

I recall years ago there was a backstage area at Disney where they used to put up facades of hotels they were currently building. Does anyone recall this?? Or does anyone know of any cool areas to look at with google maps? I remember next to space mountain they use to have one of the submarines.

If you look on Bing Maps and look in between Soarin and The Land you can see an old 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea Submarine. if you rotate looking south you can make it out better.

I heard that the area where most of this occurred is now the site of Pop Century. However, there is a mock-up of a Saratoga Springs building currently in existence elsewhere on property.
