can any one make suggustions for me?

I have the WDW wait times app which is pretty kool. looks like alot of people are using it and gets pretty close to accurate times.

The wait times apps have had mixed reviews since they are dependant on users inputting up-to-date info.

WDWMagic has their "What 2 Ride" app that's free.

There are also map apps from UPinPoint for each WDW Park, DTD and both DL Parks. VersaEdge has a Disney World Dining app. Notescast has Walt Disney World Guide and Walt Disney World Secrets. Electrollama has a Walt Disney World Resort Times Guide [not wait times, but parade, fireworks and show times]. I think all of these have a cost associated and some have GPS functionality that won't be much use on a Touch, but the apps are still pretty good.

WDW has their own site at m.disneyworld.go.com that has approximate wait time and FP return times as well as a lot of other good info, though you'd have to check stuff wherever you have wifi on a Touch.

I found almost all of the above by searching the app store for "WDW" or "Disney World"

Check out http://mobile.wdwmagic.com which will run great on your iPod.

The first WDWMAGIC iPhone app 'What 2 Ride' is also now on the App Store at http://www.wdwmagic.com/what2ride.htm

What 2 Ride is a great app.

Disney has many apps. They often release to promote films. Up,Bolt,G-Force and Princess and the Frog all have apps. Disney also releases original apps such as Lumina. They also have card games and a Nightmare Before Christmas App. The newest is Digicomics. It is a free app where you can buy or download free Disney comics to view on iPod/iPhone.

A simple search of "Disney" or "Walt Disney" turns up all official and some unofficial,"Walt Disney World" returns unofficial WDW apps since there are no official ones.

I downloaded What 2 Ride and I'm impressed it also included the WDWMagic website...great app also.

I've tried looking for other apps park-related, okish.

I have a WDW Dining app on my IPhone, and it's pretty good. Gives you all of the current menu listings and price range, and is updated whenever there is a new restaurant opening or change in a menu. I also have an app entitled WDW Secrets, which gives you background information and tidbits on all of the WDW parks, which my kids loved to read about and look for during our last trip.

If you haven't, also check out the WDWAMGIC Mobile site at http://mobile.wdwmagic.com
It will give you all the restaurant menus and reviews - constantly updated.

I have Toy Story Mania on my ipod. The Disney Fireworks game is also kinda addicting. Its not exactly theme park related but fireworks always make me think of Disney. Just some suggestions if you want some game-type apps.

do the parks even have wifi i can use with the ipod touch?
No. But the map apps and WDW Times can be updated before you go to the parks [the GPS functions won't work]. The Disney web site won't be much use and the What 2 Ride from WDWMagic will work for ride selection, but you won't be able to view the web page info on each attraction.

Wait times apps would be useless.

The Notescast apps are both info apps, so once you've loaded them they'll be OK.

WDW Dining will show menus, but the "Near Me" GPS-based function and dialling WDW Dining won't work [not that dialling ever would]

So you can still get use from the majority of apps, just nothing "live" or GPS based while in the parks.

I really like the disney.com app.

It has a lot of really cool features and trivia.

You can go under the characters section and get a personal greeting from your favorite Disney character. They ask for your name and what state you live in and the character incorporates it in the message.

My niece and nephew are going to love it!!!

Accessible WiFi in the parks is sporadic enough to safely be called non-existent. I've never personally found any accessible WiFi despite trying in most of the places I could find referenced in a Google search.
