Disney and the Muppets

Has anyone heard any new news about Disney purchasing the Muppets? The last thing I read was that the Muppets are for sale and Disney along with several other companies have looked into buying them.

EM.TV which is a German entertainment company bought them but they ran into financial troubles. Their parent company will bale them out if they dump some unwanted stuff like the Muppets.

Disney along with Viacom and AOL Time Warner are bidding for the Muppets but Disney's name keeps popping up at the top of the list. They have offered EM.TV access to their archieve for European television use which is worth a lot of money.
