Disney and Chronicles of Narnia

Chronicles of narnia is being produced by Walden Media and distributed and co-financed by Walt Disney Studios. I'm not exactly sure how to phrase my question but I was wondering if anybody knew all of the rights disney has with this movie and it's characters. Would Disney be allowed to build attractions and have characters from this movie walking around their parks? I'm just wondering what Disney can and can't do with this movie since it is being produced by Walden Media and they have the rights making all 7 novels into movies. Please excuse my ignorance, I'm not an expert on this type of stuff so I hope my question makes sense.

Really depends on what is in the contract. Usually these things are not just lumped in together. But you would assume Disney secured the rights.

Yeah, I was just asking because I was reading over a message board on a different site and they were arguing over the white witch becoming a theme park character. And some people were saying that disney wouldn't have the rights to do that since their not producing the film. I didn't think they could be right but I just thought I'd ask about it here. I don't know if there going to be characters or not, but like you said I would think Disney would secure the rights.
