Disney Airline

I recently had an idea for a Disney airline. This airline would be a smaller airline that has runs as a division of The Walt Disney Company. The fleet would be new Boeing 747-400 outfitted with an etended upper cabin that stretches the length of the plane. The airplane would be full of Disney touches such as mickey mouse shaped video screens on for every seat. Special kids play room would be onboard every plane. Kids will also recieve a special play pack and Captian Mickey Mouse doll. Food would be served on all flights with no achahol service on any flight. A soda bar would be located upstairs along with an adult lounge that would serve limited achaol service. Every seat would be leather along with the feature of turning into a bed. Charcter apperances will happen during midflight and the cabin would feature a custom lighting system that can simultate day and night. A large baby station would be in the aft along with a small medical station. Adults would be treated to first run movies on the individual movie screens. The cabins would feature a upscale traditional motif with tons of disney touches. Each resort would have it's own airport that features direct access from the airport to the passeners hotel or the reosort gateway by monorail. If the guest is staying in a Disney resort their luggage will go directly to their hotel room . Check in procedures at the airport would give the guest to check in for the whole trip. Their boarding pass would be their Key to The World Card. Guests would enjoy automated check in sevices at the check in desk. Mickey would host your flight via the onboard intercom, he would also make an apperance (if possible) during the flight. Guets may also acess information about their Disney Resort destintion via their tv along with the power to book restruants, tours,events, shows, and hotel service during their flight on the tv. Tickets for any event will be waiting in your room when u arrive. The Disney Airline is a perfect way for the magic to begin from the moment u step onboard.

Sounds like a great idea, oh only if Walt was here. It sounds kinda fancy for a plane though. But Disney having its own airline would be pretty cool. Taking guests to and from the airports by WDW and DL. And of course it would have a Disney theme. Who knows maybe one day we'll have one.

I agree that the Disney Airline would be an excellent idea to connect their travel industry (theme parks, cruise line, and airline.) If this ever happened it would be a great way for the family to be immeresed in Disney from beginning 2 end. As for the planes being upscale i purpsfully designed it that way as to pay homage to the golden age of flight when going on an airplane was somethin to dress up 4. The planes also need plenty of ammenties as famlies need to have plenty of innovative options that keep them entertained. When an airlines target market would be famlies with young children and teens it is important to have plenty of entertainment for the younger guests.

even though this airline would be super expensive, id definitely love to see it become a reality. I dont Disney would go to all the extremes you have here, but I could see the luggage, movies, good food and Disneyesque being added to either a Disney-owned airline, or a partnership with an airline company (prob delta). If you want a full upper deck, an Airbus A380 might work better, though it doesn't come out until 2006. Good ideas though!
