Disney: A Worldwide Brand

For those interested, BusinessWeek Online has released a list of the 100 most powerful brands in the world. Disney was ranked #8. A description for the expansion of the Disney brand was given:
"New CEO Robert Iger expanded the brand by buying animation hit-maker Pixar and beefing up digital distribution of TV shows through the Internet and iPods."

The Walt Disney Company may be one of the most solid and stable companies out there. It shows great strategy and promise as it continues to do well in all different types of entertainment.:D

I hope Mr. Iger aides in pushing the company to NUMBER ONE! (that's where it is in our hearts, though... and that's really all that matters...:lookaroun )

You're welcome! I've always heard and believed Disney to be a world-wide phenomenon. This provides some support for that, I suppose. Disney, by avoiding being bought up by some other corporate conglomerate, has been able to retain its moniker and character throughout its history. Cudos to the company!
