Disney’s 3rd Private Island (Pirates Hideaway)

News reporter: Coming to you live from WDC news and rumors studios. Rumors are going around that Disney is looking into opening a 3rd private island for their Disney Cruise Line. For those of you that don’t know, several new ships have been added to the fleet since the Disney Wish in 2024 which have been met with much fanfare. A massive influx of new customers have crowded their 2 existing private islands, Castaway Cay and Lookout Point, which both have been successes. As some of you may know Lookout Point was not the most successful private island at the beginning of its lifespan, but Imagineer Reilly Wilson had brought new life to the island in 2028, finally fulfilling the original concept art proposed by Imagineering Legend Joe Rhode. Many have been calling him the next great imagineer due to his many successes in his Ticket and Transportation overhaul, his Echo Lake Revitalization, and his upgrades to many lands and attractions. Imagineer Reilly Wilson joins us now in the studio to answer some of our questions, please introduce yourself.
Reilly: Hey everyone, as some of you may know I’m Reilly Wilson.
News reporter: Well Mr. Olson, tell us how you became an imagineer.
Reilly: Well I started my imagineering journey on the WDW Magic forums with my several projects on the forums from a young age, after I finished high school, I went to college and well the rest in history.
News reporter: I looked at your posts and it seems most of your projects have been adapted to the existing parks. What seems odd to me is that you rarley do anything outside of the WDW parks and resorts, tell us why.
Reilly: Well I grew up in Florida so I guess I just wanted to focus on improving my local Disney parks.
News reporter: Well before we get further off track, can you shed some light on the 3rd private island rumors.
Reilly: I tell you know, the Walt Disney Company has no interest in a 3rd private island in the next 10 years, we will focus on further improving our existing islands.
News reporter: Well, a hidden company has been buying up land in the Bahamas and other companies would have no interest further expanding, so that really leaves Disney.
Reilly: Well there are other companies that could look into the cruise line business, it is getting really lucrative, who knows Comcast or some other company might look into breaking into the cruise business.
News reporter: Well let us move onto some other topics.

This island will be themed to a pirate hideout, guests can explore the island which has many different experiences such as a nature walkthrough and a tour of the Black Pearl. Here is the map for the new island.
