Discovery River Boats

At least one of the former Discovery River boats from AK will be used for MK Magical Gatherings fireworks cruises. Guess those rumors about the boats not being able to handle the seven seas lagoon were not true. They did do extensive modifications to the boat though.

It is not that they can't be used at SSL, it is that they can't be used in "high" wind conditions in an open lake like this one, that is all the problem wiht them, ussually at night for the fireworks there's not wind, and if they have wind they won't use the boats.

That would explain why they have been testing them there. I wonder if they changed the look of them. They look too much like Animal Kingdom boats to be cruising around the Magic Kingdom.

They did completely change the look of the boat.
