Discovery Package, have you used it...

Was the package worth it, what types of wishes did you use it for? What type of wishes can you use it for? Is it a good package? How does it work? IE- A card, some stubs or what?? Going to WDW in January for our honeymoon and we're a little confused. Thanks all!!

We used the discovery magic package for our honeymoon the past June. It was great. We used most of our wishes on food. You can go eat at really nice disney restraunts with them. You can also use them on like photo albums, pictures with mickey etc...
When you check into your hotel they will give you a booklet with all the places you can use your wishes at. We loved the magical wishes. If you use them in restraunts, it inculdes 1 app. 1 entree, 1 desert per person for 1 wish a person. Some of the more expensive restraunts take 2 wishes a person. We kept all over a receipts from all the food we ate on wishes and added it up, it was over $1200. Trust me you will enjoy the wishes program.
We are going back Dec 28-Jan 4th.

We used the Discovery Magic package last October. It was well worth the money. We used our wishes for La Nouba, dinners, mini-golf and the Backstage Tour and still had to run around on the last day using up some left over wishes. I would highly recommend it.

This is a very popular package. I usually recommend this to my customers. It is not worth it though if you are traveling with young children. Each magical wish is worth approx. $30. Small children do not eat that much and thus, the package does not pay for itself. If you are traveling with young children, I would suggest the Resort Magic plan instead. That way you get a charecter breakfast for the kids.
