Its been a while since they've closed Discovery Island. Has anyone heard of any new plans for that land?

I read that between the old bird poo :hurl: that is supposedly everywhere and some sort of bug infestation it could be a while before anything could be done with the island. Its sad because
as soon as I hear "Pleasure Island" I immediately think "and
Discovery Island".

Can't wait for the Food and Wine (not Whine) festival!

I have a feeling that the island won't be put to use for a while. What can they really put there that can keep people's attention like a theme park.
