I heard rumors that any free dining information may be released around April 10th. That is usually for late summer/fall though.

We booked for Aug 12-23. the Disney website rate was $82 / night at the Values, the AAA rate was $65.60/night. I think thats a 20% discount. Its not free dining , but thats a good rate / night at the Values. Free dining , if offered may fall near the end or even middle of our trip, which we have no flexibility on. August second is the last day Disney has $119/night on the values. Aug. 3rd thay drop to $82 untill Oct. 2nd, when they go back to $99/night.

The past few years, you could get the regular dining plan for free if you went some time in August or September. There's no guarantee they will offer it again this year, but if they do it will probably be announced soon. Of course, it won't be completely free anymore as gratuity is no longer included, but that's still quite a deal.

I'm not sure if this helps you - but I have the Disney Visa and I get discounts in the mail or email from time to time.
For example, we used it to book our honeymoon and we got 20% off our tour that we signed up for. Also, in the World of Disney store I get 20% off anything over $25.
I haven't seen anything on rooms recently, but like I said, sometimes things do come through the mail w/discounted rates. I recommend signing up for the card if you're a big Disney person - it's worth it just for things like that.
