I totally agree. I know that their fare is for "family", but to entertain family you have to entertain everyone in the family, meaning teenagers and parents that bring their kids or brothers or sisters.
The country bears movie was a dead give-away for a pretty horrible movie. The trailer gives everything in the movie away too.
I don't hold much hope for the Haunted Mansion movie, with its Eddie Murphy (this the same guy doing Pluto Nash!) and its "a ghost tells Murphy the importance of family" storyline. How bout follow the original Haunted Mansion storyline???
Pirates seems ok, with Geoffrey Rush on board. But when the guy also signs for a "House on Haunted Hill" remake, you know that could be trouble. Hopefully is a high-adventure seas epic, and not a "country bears".
And those direct-to-video sequels!!!! My GOD! ARE THEY INSANE!
I know that the storyboard artists and animators behind these things have jobs and work hard on them, but they HAVE TO STOP DILLUTING THE DISNEY LEGACY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Disney's California Adventure was one thing. The Disney Studios Paris is another. But the last straw is this weakling park in Hong Kong.
DisneySEAS HELLO!!!!!!!! This is a great park. THE fact that basically disney thinks Americans can't "APPRECIATE" such a park is disgusting. I know that certain countries have certain tastes, but Disney transplanted Tokyo Disneyland from plans of WDW's Magic Kingdom and Disneyland itself because they loved the American culture.
What do we get? DCA. Thank you very much Mr. Eisner. Mr. Paul Pressler.

These guys are the wrong men for the job. I'm sorry. They worked hard, they saved Disney (no. Sorry. FRANK WELLS and eisner saved Disney. Then eisner hired Paul to do the theme parks division and everything went downhill.)

The imagineers aren't even a great force anymore! They're given shoestring budgets to detail carnival rides and then guys like Joe Rhode have to play "corporate puppet" (because they have to keep their jobs) and say things like "I have no doubt that we will build spectacular attractions in the future". Maybe thats true, but I think he's just protecting his security in his position. You have to respect that.
They have these INCREDIBLE plans JUST LYING AROUND THE OFFICE for projects like Beastly Kingdom. And what do they give us? PRIMEVAL WHIRL! while the Universal theme park down the road is being called "the best new theme park" (not that it is, but it does have some cool attractions).

I'm not a Disney hater, but it makes me sick when they have a reputation and a NAME and THEY SPOIL IT LIKE THIS! THEY CAN'T SEE THE ERROR OF THEIR WAYS???
Its days like these I try to think what would have happened if EPCOT had been built as a city.
