Dinner before MNSSHP

Hello all, I'm going to the Halloween party for the first time this year! Granted, we're going in September, but we're going!! My DH is all about steakhouses on this WDW trip, we're going to both Le Cellier and Concourse Steakhouse. We're eating at Concourse the night of MNSSHP @ 6:20. This was the earliest ressie I could get for that night. Is this going to interfere with the party?? I couldn't convince my DH to eat anywhere in MK, so I thought Contemporary would be the best choice. What do you think, is the ressie ok?? I appreciate any input!!! Thanks!

According to the menu posted on allears.net, Tony's Town Square offers one or two different steak options. We have never ate at this restaurant before, but we are going to try it for lunch this fall. Maybe you could show him the menu and see what he thinks. You might also check out Kona Cafe at the Polynesian, they also have a steak on the menu. There are also a couple of places at the Grand Floridian that have steak on the menu. I believe some of those rest. are high end and if on the dining plan may use 2 points per person. These are all on the monorail (except Tony's, it's on Main St.) and perhaps you can get an earlier dinner time.

We're doing MNSSHP first time this year and we're doing a 4:20 at LTT. I want to make sure not to miss anything. Our DS, 5, is a Halloween fanatic!

I would not waste party time eating. Eat a late lunch somewhere and get to the MK about 4. They will let you in for the party, though you'll have to kill some time in Adventureland between 6 and 7 while they clear the non-party-goers out.

I'm going on Oct 12 & we have ressies for Liberty Tree Tavern for 7:00 & we plan on getting to MK around 4:00 (That's the earliest we can get in, right?)

Gates open at like 4:30 for party goers -- don't waste the ticket eating -- hit a late lunch at concourse or le cellier and head right over. If you are hungry -- hit caseys or pecos bills for dinner.

I agreee, you're paying for the party why not spend as much time there as possible.

Last year we ate at Tony's at 4:30 the night we went to MNSSHP. I do remember them having more than pasta on the menu.

Thanks for all the input. My DH dosen't like LTT, although I love it. I think I'll try to get him to commit to a late lunch. Thanks so much!! I'm so excited about going to MNSSHP this year! I've never been before!!

Meega, nala kwishta!
You'll be just fine. Were eating at the GF on our night for MNSSHP @ about 6pm as well.

If you make it over by 8:00pm, you wont miss the first parade. I belive the fireworks are always at 9:15pm, and they do the parade again at 10pm.

Most people leave after the fireworks, so the park will become even better to "play" in after about 9:30 or so.

Here's a scan of the brochure you get that night...

Thank you, since some other people were saying just to grab something quick to eat, this is really what I wanted to know. I'm hoping that dinner isn't longer than about an hour.
