What restaurants in Epcot can you eat and see illuminations? Any recommendations...date night for my husband and I while nana and pop pop watch our daughter on vacation. Thanks!

You can see Illuminations by sitting outside at either Rose and Crown (UK) or La Cantina (Mexico).

You can see them from inside if you get a window seat at Le Chefs de France (France), La Hacienda (Mexico), and Tokyo Dine (Japan).

Rose & Crown is usually the #1 choice and spots book up fast, but it shouldn't be as tough if you're a party of 2. On top of that, when you check in for the meal you'll need to tell them that you'll want to wait for a patio spot. A guy I work with also recently dined at Monsieur Paul during Illuminations...I've heard mixed reviews on watching from there...but he said it was good and the food was really great as well.

Rose and Crown has the best view! Well, at least I thought so! I made a reservation for 7:40PM and by the time we got dessert Illuminations was starting; it was beautiful, one of my favorite shows. A word of advise though, they will not honor a patio table request. They will try their best to accommodate you but if you refuse the table they offer, they will charge you as a no show and cancel your reservation.

La Cantina De San Angel, which is a quick service, also has great views of the show but some people have been known to hog the best table for as long as two hours even without food on the tables.

We just did this at La Hacienda. Beautiful indoor view, and they pipe in the music for it. We were originally disappointed we weren't sitting by a window, but once Illuminations started, everything kind of stopped, and we stood so we could see out of the windows. Good looking margaritas, too.
