Our favorite character meal is at Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort. We love the food there (the parmesan mashed potatoes are awesome! :slurp: ), and the character interaction is great. The last time we were there, Mickey, Minnie, Chip, Dale, Donald, & Goofy were there. Donald was in the waiting area signing autographs and posing for pictures, but the rest of the characters came around to the tables. During our last trip, Chip and Dale took turns coming over to our table to give my mother kisses! It was hilarious. Goofy was my favorite - he helped me choose which dessert I should eat. We always go to Chef Mickey's our first night at WDW.

We've also gone to the Crystal Palace. We liked it well enough, but didn't think the food was as good as Chef Mickey's. We aren't big Pooh fans either.

I have also heard good things about the character meals at the Garden Grill at Epcot and 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian.

The princess breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table at the MK is also extremely popular. We've never been to that one, but that's mainly because my son doesn't really care about seeing the princesses. I would love to go to this breakfast just once though.

My fav breakfast is at the Garden Grill at EPCOT, but the best experience ever with character dining was at the the Liberty Bell (Tree?) Tavern in the Magic Kingdom. Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale were all present. They were very interactive with everyone. We were one of the last groups seated for the night. We didn't leave until after the park had closed. That's my favorite time to be in the Magic Kingdom, after the park closes and Main Street is virtually empty. A perfect end to a perfect day!!

Just so everyone knows Garden Grill no longer serves breakfast.

I would Recommend Breakfastosaurus in AK. It was a great breakfast and the characters are Mickey, Goofy, PLuto, and Donald. And they are al dressed for a Dinosaur expedition.

we loved Breakfastosaurus...we had a GREAT waiter who kept playing tricks on us (walks up to us with a tray of coffee cups, says "I have some fabulous capuccino and hot chocolate for all of you....OH! and he trips and drops the cups on us...empty of course. Then he comes up w/ a camera and takes our picture...but it's one of those water squirting cameras! Then he comes up w/ a ketchup bottle and sprays it all over the place...but it's one of those fake ones w/ a plastic stream of ketchup)...he was great! Goofy came around and messed w/ my hat...Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, and Donald were there! It was great...when people were waiting to come in...Goofy slams through the door, comes out side, trips, glares at his "little helper" and busts through the door across the walkway into the restaurant...it was GREAT!

I noticed you guys seem to know a lot about some changes with the character meals, i.e. no Villans, Pooh instead, Garden Grille breakfast not around anymore. Where do you get this info? How can I find out who will be at the breakfasts I have PSings for?

Character Dine

Me and my daughter LOVE Donald's Breakfastosaurus. Try for a lter PS. The park opens early every day and the early breakfast is jammed pack. If you can hold out for the last seating (10am last time I went) you get plenty of character QT .:slurp: :sohappy: :king: :king:

When we wnt to 1900 Park Fayre for breakfast it was Alice, Madhatter, Mary Poppins. It was pretty tame and the food was not to good either the server was absolutely awful. In fact it is the only bad experience e have ever had in 11 years of going to disney. we where so disappointed we actually wrote to the manager who I'm sorry to say couldn't even be bothered to respond to us.

Chef Mckey's however is wonderful, we go every time we go to the world and although we have tried many other character meals this is always our favourite.

I do like the ice cream treat in the Garden Grill as well.
