I am planning to book a reservation for a character breakfast at 'Ohana in Disney, but the reservation is for 8am. My family will be staying a local hotel near Disney (not a Disney resort), that has a shuttle service. Would we be allowed to come into the park to make it to our character breakfast? (I have already checked with my shuttle service on shuttle schedules).

'Ohana is located inside the Polynesian Village Resort, not in the Magic Kingdom. Your shuttle will need to drop you off no later than 7:30 a.m. at the Ticket and Transportation Center and from there you can walk to the Polynesian. 'Ohana is located in the main building (Great Ceremonial House) on the second floor.
If your hotel shuttle does not run that early you will need to take a taxi/Uber to the Poly.
