We have a reservation for Les Chefs de France in October for lunch. We have the Disney dining plan, so using our 1 table service credit do we have to order from the Prix Fixe menu? I would rather order a different entree then what is offered on that menu (understand it's a good deal since you get an appetizer, but don't need an appetizer). So can you just order like you do at other restaurants (entree & dessert)? Thanks in advance for your help!!

No. At Les Chefs, if you want to use the DP credits, your menu options are limited.

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
We personally have never been limited on what we can order anywhere including this restaurant on the dining plan. You should not have a problem. And yes we have been recently on the plan. :)

I was there in August 2012 with deluxe dining, and was limited. Has it changed since then? If it has, that is excellent news.

I was there last fall and wasn't limited to anything. We could have ordered from prix fixe if we wanted to, but we chose entrees and desserts with no issues whatsoever.

I was there for Spring break on the regular dining plan and ate at Chefs de France. I did get the prix fixe meal on the dining plan and there were no restrictions other than alcoholic drinks.

On the Dining Plan, one entree, dessert and non alcoholic beverage is included. With the Deluxe Dining Plan, you can order an appetizer as well. You don't *have* to order the prix fixe menu, but thats the only way you get three courses on the regular dining plan. You can always, pay out of pocket for an appetizer too. :)

Excellent news! This is one of the restaurants that my DD and I both want to try, and knowing that you can get more that just an entree and a desert by choosing the prix fixe menu makes the choice even easier.

Thanks Deb!

The Prix Fixe menu gives you a choice of soup, three entrees (croque monsieur, quiche or mac n cheese made with gruyere) and choice of dessert (great deal for a TS!) but other appetizers and entrees listed on the menu, are not included in the Prix Fixe meal.
